As with most new yoga students, Tom came to his first practice, six years ago, with the purpose of healing past injuries and improving his overall health.
After spending his first year almost exclusively within the Sivinanda style, he furthered his interest in Vinyasa flow, and the mindfulness associated with both.
Three years ago, he was introduced to Yin Yoga, a style that fit exactly what he was looking for in his practices.
A passion was born.
He decided to take his yoga to another level, teaching. Receiving his Yin certification at Omega Institute in New York in 2012, he then completed his 200 RYT training at Twin City Yoga in February of 2014.
His goal is to teach and share his experience to all who are interested in enriching their lives.
