1. How long have you been a barre teacher?
I’ve been teaching Barre for just under 6 months. I took one Barre class last summer and got hooked!
2. What brought you to yoga?
My family! Two of my aunts and my cousin take yoga at HOME and were always encouraging me to join them. My first class was one of the ones along the river—loved being outside and learning something new.
3. How has yoga changed you? Physically and/or mentally.
I'm still on the path to changing more ‘physically’ but I can tell you that in just the past few months: I stand taller, my balance and strength are incredible, my posture has improved, I sleep better, am more active during the day and overall have a more positive outlook on exercise and staying fit.
4. What intrigued you about teaching at Home Yoga & Barre?
Being surrounded by all the positive, encouraging and motivating people at HOME —the good vibes you get from each teacher, and in their own unique ways, made me want to be a part of the HOME Yoga & Barre team!
5. What's your favorite post class meal or snack?!
Any kind of fruit or veggie! Something about leaving a good workout that makes me want to eat cleaner and healthier!

With my kids—at home cooking & baking; working on house projects; schlepping them to their various activities. The weekends are usually busy with events—the most fun are the ones when we have a house full of cousins to join in all the fun!
